Welcome to the Magical World of Story Writing
This writing program is designed for children 8-12 years of age (Quills) who have a passion, or new interest, for reading and writing and wish to take that enthusiasm and bring it to the page.
Young writers will learn step-by-step from the beginning of the writing process to the end to help them craft stories that will keep them engaged and creative.
Every course is rooted in a common theme and genre in children’s literature that will guide our direction. Each class will begin with a story read aloud, followed by a grammar lesson, and the remaining time is dedicated to writing. By the end of the seven or eight-week program, each child will have a completed work that they can feel proud of.
It doesn’t matter whether students are already seasoned writers or brand new to the craft; this course promises to take young writers on an exciting literary journey.
