Possible projects include homemade watercolors creation, natural material printmaking and outdoor chalk murals.

Session Two:
Kids will explore traditional and non-traditional bookmaking techniques in this hands on class. Projects include accordion books, hand-sewn bookbinding, chimera mix & match books and much more!

Session Three:
Build it Big
Young artists will create large-scale and communal artwork, using a variety of two and three-dimensional materials. Activities include recycled robots, New York City panoramas and Jackson Pollock splatter paintings.

Session Four:
Contemporary Kids
Kids will discover the artwork of contemporary artists, including Kehinde Wiley, Takashi Murakami, Orly Genger, Sun Kwak and other visual artists. We’ll discuss their methods and materials and then create our own artwork inspired by their creations.

Session Five:
Draw, Doodle and Pop!
This unique drawing class will focus on traditional, and non-traditional, drawing techniques, getting inspiration from old masters and contemporary artists such as Jim Dine, Vincent Van Gogh, Keith Haring and many more.
